How Boujee products are made
The first step in the manufacturing process is to design the furniture product. This is usually done by a team of designers who create a product blueprint using computer-aided design (CAD) software or by hand.
Materials selection: Once the design is complete, the materials for the furniture product are selected. This can include wood, metal, plastic, leather, and fabric.
Cutting: The selected materials are cut to the appropriate size and shape using tools such as saws.
Joinery: The cut pieces are then joined together using various methods, such as glueing, screwing, or nailing, depending on the design.
Sanding and Finishing: The furniture product is then sanded to create a smooth surface and any imperfections are removed. A finish is then applied to the product, such as paint or stain, to protect the material and give it the desired colour and texture.
Upholstery: If the furniture includes upholstery, such as a sofa or chair, the fabric is cut and sewn to fit the design. Foam, batting, and other materials are added to create the desired comfort level.
Quality Control: Once the product is complete, it goes through a quality control check to ensure that it meets the company’s standards for durability, safety, and craftsmanship.
